Edward nodded stepping back over to pull his best friend into a hug. "I know, I'm sorry to make you have to remember it. That young...I couldn't have held together if I had lost dad back then. Hell I only held together when I lost him becuase of you and Jack" He spoke softly, he hated to remember his father's death. Though that had messed him up pretty bad becuase he had been in the room when his father's fatal heart attack hit. "...Off topic, where is Jack?" He hadn't seen him in a bit so he had to ask.
"I don't want to put that burden on you Lydy. I just have to sign some papers and make everything official. I promise to call if I can't handle it, but this woman is far too chipper about everything." He spoke running a hand through his hair and making a face "Yeah... Showering is gotta happen." He headed for the door. "I'll be right back." He spoke and as soon as he walked through the door he saw Kim there and tilted his head at her. "Hello again Kim." He spoke it loud enough for Lydia to hear he just didn't expect her to be right by the door. Giving her a strange look he started to head on for the shower but touched her shoulder as he passed, maybe becuase he was still half drunk or because she was there who knows but he didn't look back he just went on to shower. He figured the girls needed to talk or something.
