Edward was no stranger to the Sullivan household, even before Mr. Sullivan remarried Edward had been someone who visited every now and then. He had befriended Lydia in middle school and had had many random sleepovers. It helped that everyone assumed he was gay because he wore so much make up, the make up had only gotten worse since his father's death.
And here it was April 5th, the 18th anaversery to Kurt Cobain's death and Edward had as always wore black, a Nirvana shirt was on under the black button up shirt that was left open under it, and a pair of shades on most of the day. When asked to remove them he jokingly said 'I'm in morning, the passing of good music." was his response. He found it funny but part of it was he really did adore Nirvana.
Being as it was a 'holiday' on Friday they got to go home for a three day weekend. Edward's mother if one thing loved holidays and parties, only instead of coming home to his father's home to find it over decorated with Easter stuff like he expected and normally hated he found his mother's personal assistant sitting on the steps waiting for him.
"Hey Eddy." The woman spoke softly as Edward blinked a little stepping out of his father's old Cadillac he had inherited, the woman met him halfway from the car and the stairs. "Come sit down child, we need to talk."

It was almost 9 pm when a hard knock came on the door of the Sullivan's Door. Edward was standing on the otherside, his hair was everywhere and his eyelinner was streaked down his face almost on mock Crow makeup. Only the way it steaked clearly he had cried it that way. He smelled of burbon and looked half drunk too. It was almost 2 miles from the hilltop where his father's estate sat to the suburb house where Lydia's family lived, yet he had walked it.
When the door opened he was leaning against the door frame "Is Lydia here?" His voice spoke half cracking. He didn't know what else to say.

"And nah. No one will mind."

I promise to call if I can't handle it, but this woman is far too chipper about everything." He spoke running a hand through his hair and making a face "Yeah... Showering is gotta happen." He headed for the door. "I'll be right back." He spoke and as soon as he walked through the door he saw Kim there and tilted his head at her. "Hello again Kim." He spoke it loud enough for Lydia to hear he just didn't expect her to be right by the door. Giving her a strange look he started to head on for the shower but touched her shoulder as he passed, maybe becuase he was still half drunk or because she was there who knows but he didn't look back he just went on to shower. He figured the girls needed to talk or something.

Date: 2012-04-10 02:47 pm (UTC)"You okay Lydy?" He asked softly as he sat his things down on the floor somewhere, he ran a hand through his mostly still wet hair, he felt strange outwith it piled high in the air light an electrocution victim but it was wet and he had brought nothing with him to fix it. With out his make up he looked a bit off but still very much Eddy. After sitting everything down he moved to sit down not too far from her.
